Price, Normagene Sweeney

Normagene Sweeney Price, 80, of Blacksburg died, Friday, August 31, 2007, at Montgomery Regional Hospital.

She was born in Mont. Co., Va., on November 15, 1926 to the late Lacy G. and Verna Guynn Sweeney. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paris Earl Price; and son, Earl Stephen Price.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce and Tommy Hackney, of Blacksburg, Ann and Buddy Hoback, of Radford, Gayle Hudgins, of Blacksburg, Susie and Ralph Long, of Blacksburg; son and daughter-in-law, Dwight and Nancy Price, of Blacksburg; sister, Evelyn Davis, of Blacksburg; 15 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, September 3, 2007 at 2 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmie Lee Price officiating. Interment will follow in the Price Family Cemetery, Blacksburg. Friends may call anytime after 12 noon Sunday, and the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive SW, Blacksburg.
