Price, Josie Loveda Sifford

Josie Loveda (Veetee) Sifford Price, 67, of Blacksburg, died Sunday, April 9, 2006, at Lewis-Gale Medical Center Salem.

She was born in Montgomery County, Va. on September 12, 1938 to the late Robert Hoge and Sadie Louise Hutchison Sifford, and was also preceded in death by a sister Tiny Sheppard.

She is survived by her husband, Clyde Odell Price ; daughter, Asonya Perdue; sons and daughters-in-law, Calvin and Gala Price, Chad and Julie Price, all of Blacksburg; sisters and brothers-in-law, Loretta and Tommy Corvin of Thaxton, Va., Janet and Jimmy Shaver of South Carolina; brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Conelia Sifford of Blacksburg, Curtis Sifford and Joann Rowe of Glen Lynn, Stanley and Anne Sifford of South Carolina; granddaughters, Heather and Samantha Price, Michaela Perdue, all of Blacksburg; several nieces and nephews; a special niece Angie Roberts; a special great-niece Ashley Roberts, and a special great-nephew Wesley Roberts.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at 2 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Richard Gilbert and Rev. Rador Vaden officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association Richmond-Petersburg VA Office, 503 E. Main Street, Suite 200, Richmond, Va. 23219.

Friends may call anytime after 12 noon Tuesday, and the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home 150 Country Club Drive, SW., Blacksburg.
