Jeanette Pigg Price, 73, of Riner, died Wednesday, February 6, 2008, at New River Valley Medical Center. She was born in West Virginia on February 3, 1935, to the late Raymond and Frances Thompson Pigg. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Leroy Price.

She was a longtime member of Merrimac Pentecostal Holiness Church where she was a Sunday School teacher for over 20 years. She was a beloved mother, Nana, sister and faithful friend.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Jerry Johnston, of Riner; a granddaughter, Amanda Johnston; a grandson, Ben Johnston, both of Riner; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Bon and Theron Amborn, of Michigan City, Ind., and Mickie and Dan Springer, of Manito, Ill.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Leah Pigg, of Montcalm, W.Va., and Johnny and Angie Pigg, of Rock, W.Va.; a sister-in-law, Bess Price, of Roanoke; numerous nieces and nephews, and other relatives; and special friends, Gayle and Don Linkous, Amy and Wayne Myers, Virginia Linkous and Hazel Linkous.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, February 8, 2008, in the Merrimac Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Glennard Quesenberry and the Rev. Jerry Sloss officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. Friends may call anytime after 12 noon Thursday, February 7, 2008, and the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr., Blacksburg, Va.
