Price, Dorothy Davis

Dorothy Davis Price, 76, of Blacksburg died, Thursday, January 18, 2007 at Heritage Hall Health Care.

She was born in Montgomery County, Virginia on November 10, 1930 to the late Robert Earl, Sr. and Maxine Reynolds Davis. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Harrison Price and a son, Michael Anthony Price.

She is survived by daughters, Ricky Davis Blair and husband, Ernie, of Oliver Springs, Tenn., Virginia Price Mattox and husband, Darrell, of Catawba, Carol Price, of Radford; sons, James Paul Price and wife, Brenda, of Christiansburg, Jon Harris Price, Jimmy Price and wife, Mary, all of Blacksburg, David Allen Price and wife, Tamara, of Oak Ridge, Tenn.; sisters, Katherine Dean, of Roanoke, Selma Pat Smith, of Blacksburg, Charlotte Smith and husband, Carmon, of Prices Fork; brother, Robert Earl Davis, Jr.; 19 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, January 20, 2007 at 7 p.m. in the Gateway Baptist Church with the Rev. Dewey O. Weaver, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday evening at Gateway Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jesus Centered Ministries, David and Tamara Price Missionaries to Nicaragua, P.O. Box 7111, Knoxville, Tenn. 37921.
