Price, Christine Page

Christine Page Price, 93, of Blacksburg, Va., died on Monday, March 23, 2009, at Montgomery Regional Hospital. She was born in Giles County, Va., on July 21, 1915, to the late John Thomas and Annie Farrow Paige. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard McKinley Price.

She is survived by her children, James H. Price (Nancy), Allan M. Price (deceased) (JoAnn), Clarence L. Price (deceased) (Donna), Randolph P. Price (Hazel), Phillip H. Price (Carrie), W. Kaywood Price (Cathy), Anna C. Price, Vanessa D. Eaves, and Thomas L. Price (Brenda); a sister, Laura P. Michael; and a host of grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, great-greatgrandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2009, in the First Baptist Church on Clay Street with Dr. P.L. Barrett officiating. Interment will follow in the Blacksburg Cemetery, Blacksburg.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 4335 Cox Road, Glen Allen, Va. 23060. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until service time on Saturday at the church. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg, Va.
