Price, Bernard Lee

Bernard Lee Price, 75, of Raleigh and formerly Newport, Va., passed away Thursday afternoon, May 10, 2007.

Born May 11, 1931 in Newport, Va., he was predeceased in death by his father and mother, Harold and Annie Price; a brother, James H. Price; and a sister, Ruth P. Powell. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving from 1950 to 1954.

Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Bernard L. Price II and Cathy Price of Roanoke; daughter, Carolyn Glass of Roanoke; four grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, David and Juanita Price of Dublin; and best friends Al and Sandra Haskins of Raleigh, N.C.

A memorial graveside service will be held Saturday, June 16, 2007 at 3 p.m. in Newport Cemetery, Giles County. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to your local church. Arrangements locally announced by Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski.
