Prescott, Sherwood Lincoln

Sherwood Lincoln Prescott, 82, passed away Friday, November 12, 2010 at his home in Radford. He was retired from Clover Creamery with 38 years of service.

He was preceded in death by two children, Brenda Stevens and Danny Prescott; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and his former wife, Margaret S. Prescott.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Lois Bowman Prescott of Radford; two sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas and Donna Prescott and Larry and Edna Prescott, all of Floyd; two daughters and son-in-law, Cathy Cundiff of Dublin and Margaret and Robert Farmer of Radford; stepson and his son, David and J. D. Vines of Waynesboro; brother James L. Prescott of Dublin; 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

The family will receive friends Saturday, November 13, 2010 from 5 pm until 7 pm at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services will begin at 7 pm immediately following the visitation with Rev. Darrell Linkous officiating. A graveside service will be held Sunday, November 14, 2010 at 2 pm at Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin.
