Prescott, Nancy Dillon

Nancy Evelyn Prescott, age 76, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2020, at her home in Rich Creek, VA. Born May 2, 1944, in Bozoo, WV, she was the daughter of the late Fred Horton and Macie Mae Dunn Dillon.

Nancy was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Rich Creek, VA, and the Relay for Life Committee for many years, which she was actively involved with. She enjoyed designing floral arrangements and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Prescott; three brothers, and two sisters. Survivors include one son, David Prescott; two daughters, Kim Woodyard and Victoria; three grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, August 13, 2020, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel in Peterstown, WV, with Rev. Aubrey Whitlow officiating. Burial will follow at the Peterstown Cemetery in Rich Creek, VA. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until time of services on Thursday at the funeral home.
