Pratt, Norma Wood

Norma Wood Pratt, 70, of Riner, passed away Monday, March 19, 2007. She was the daughter of the late Clarence Thomas and Bessie Ellen Wood. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Pratt and son, Bobby Pratt.

She is survived by her son, Richard Pratt of Floyd; daughters and sons-in-law, Ellen and Brian Bean of Floyd, Angela and Tony Stump of Riner; special daughter-in-law, Teresa Pratt of McCoy; grandchildren, Sherri and Stephen Handy, Jessica and Christopher Pratt, Daniel, Zachary, Brandon, Matthew and Austin Stump, Brandi, Jessica and Dylan Bean; one greatgranddaughter, Cora Handy; sisters and brother-in-law, Freeda and Billy Mills of Riner, Sue Wood of Riner; brothers and sisters-in-law, Thomas and Grace Wood of Riner and Michael and Sharon Wood of Pilot.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Horne Funeral Home in Christiansburg. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 22, 2007 at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Neal Turner officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to help offset expenses.
