Potts, Michael Eugene

Michael Eugene (Mike) Potts, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2009. He was born March 24, 1974. He is survived by his mother, Sandra L. Sutphin, of Christiansburg, Va.; his father and stepmother, Richard, Sr. and Barbara Potts, of Levington Park, Md.; his two brothers, Richard Potts, Jr. (Ricky) and Bryan S. Potts, both of Christiansburg, Va. Michael has three daughters and one son. He is also survived by his grandparents, Bennett and Shirley Medley, of Dublin, Va. He was special to his aunt Pat and Fran, of Maryland, and Joe Sartin, of Christiansburg, Va. and a host of family and friends. Michael loved the Dallas Cowboys football team. He was a graduate of Christiansburg High School, where he was a popular football player and received awards for wrestling and basketball. Michael was a great tile installer, a great son, and a loving father to his kids. He will be sadly missed by all that knew him and always be loved by his parents and brothers and the ones he left behind.
