Posey, Don Edgar

Don Edgar Posey, 68, of Riner, passed away Friday, April 13, 2007 at his home. He was a member of the New Hope Church of God. He was a retired Dock Master for Hendry Corp. in Florida.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernie Clyde and Addelle Cathrine Kitzmiller Johnson, and wife Betty Neal Posey.

Survivors include a daughter, Cynthia G. Posey of Riner; two sisters-in-law, Mary “Poochie” Rossi of Riner; Patsy Neal of Radford; special friend, Susan Dalton of Radford; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at New Hope Church of God in Christiansburg with Rev. James Walker and Rev. T. Michael Bond officiating. Interment will follow in West View Cemetery in Radford. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Mullins Funeral Home.
