Poole, Mary Elizabeth

Mary Elizabeth Cruff Poole, age 85 of Charlotte, NC and formerly of Pulaski, died early Saturday morning January 5, 2008 in Hospice Palliative Care in Kannapolis, NC.

She was born on October 17, 1922 in Giles County, VA, and was the daughter of the late Susie Stephenson Cruff and Robert Benjamin Cruff. Mrs. Poole was a Baptist by faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Silas Poole.

She is survived by one son; Robert T. Poole of Charlotte: one daughter; Rena ?Bobbi? Griffin and her husband Jerry of Charlotte. Also survived by a granddaughter; Cheryl Windham and her husband David of Stanfield, NC, and two great-grandchildren, Brittany Windham and Karlie Windham.

Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday January 8, 2007 at 11:30 a.m. in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The family will receive friends at Thomas M. Seagle & Sons Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
