Pinkston, Edward Roy

Edward Roy Pinkston, Jr, 69, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at Heritage Hall in Rich Creek, Virginia.

He was born April 9, 1947 in Tampa, Florida and was the son of the late Edward Roy Pinkston, Sr. and Jennie Louise Peterson Pinkston. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Rich Creek, Va., a U.S. Army Veteran and retired from CSX as a conductor. He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Magdaline Bathe Pinkston. Surviving is two brothers, Lonnie W. Pinkston and wife Barbara of Middleburg, FL., and Terry L. Pinkston, Sr. and wife Teri of Seffner, FL. One sister, Janice Lynn Jones and husband John of Fort McCoy, Fl.

Funeral Services will be held, 1:00 pm. Friday, January 27, 2017 at Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel in Peterstown, WV, with Pastor Kevin Shirey officiating. Burial will follow in Peterstown Cemetery, Giles County Virginia. Friends may call from 12:00 Noon until time of services.
