Pierson, Robert

Robert (Rob) Pierson, 60, of Radford, Va., passed away on Monday, October 8, 2007. He was born in Shawsville, Va.

He served in the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Gwendolyn Pierson; his parents, Herman and Margaret Pierson; three brothers, Nay Norrell, William Pierson, and Leroy Pierson; and one sister, Annabell Harris.

Those left to cherish his memories are two sons, Duane Pierson (Crystal) and Derrick Webb; and a daughter, Lashonda Pierson; his very special companion, Deborah Sherman-Lee; two brothers, James Pierson (Janet) and Sam Pierson; two sisters, Cora Snow and Edna Dowe (Howard); seven grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Services will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2007 at First Baptist Church in Radford, Va. Viewing of his body will be from 1 to 2 p.m. and the service will begin at 2 p.m. Robert will be laid to rest at Sunrise Burial Park.
