Phillips, Patsy Gail
Patsy Gail Phillips, 58, of Floyd, Va., passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2008. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother. She was proceeded in death by her father, Theron A. Phillips.
Survivors include her mother, Martha Agnes Phillips; daughter, Martha Kristen Howell; granddaughter, Brittney N. Howell; grandson, Michael “Mikey” Howell; sisters and brothers-in-law, Peggy and Joe Quesenberry, Dolly Phillips (very special caregiver), and Nancy and Kenny Page; niece and husband, Emily and Joey Kaylor; and nephews, Zachary Conner, Joshua Conner, and Jacob Phillips.
Patsy completed her B.S. in career and technical education at Virginia Tech. She followed this with a master’s degree in psychology at Radford University. Patsy’s most recent employment was with the Judge Advocate General’s office in Charlottesville, Va., however, she dearly loved writing and helping care for others, especially her grandmother, Mandy Coburn; and uncle, Don Coburn.
Patsy’s family would like to thank each and every one for the support, visits, prayers, and the many acts of kindness extended to them and especially Patsy through the time of her illness.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 20, 2008, at Maberry Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Pugh officiating. Interment to follow at White Rock Cemetery.
