Phillips, Nottie Kavilla

Nottie Kavilla Phillips, 101, of Galax, passed away Saturday, August 2, 2008.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Braxton and Mary Elizabeth Phillips; wife, Dovie Quesenberry Phillips; and a daughter, Aldene Phillips.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Martha and Leonard Cox; grandsons, David Cox and James Cox; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 5, 2008, at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, Floyd, with Pastor Norman Goad and Pastor Harvey Carico officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Maberry Funeral Home, Floyd.
