amem_songbird.jpgMary Langhorne Stevens Phillips, born March 18, 1924 at Beards Fork, West Virginia, Died April 5, 2012, while residing at the Kroontje Health Care Center at Warm Hearth Village. She was preceded in death by her husband Don Phillips of Radford and Nokomis, Florida; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. G. Stevens of Radford; three sisters and two brothers. She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. R. G. (Bobbie) Stevens and Mrs. David (Betty) Stevens both of Radford. Other survivors include a step-daughter and two step-grandchildren. “Lang”, also known as “Mary”, retired after many years as a registered nurse from Radford Army Ammunition Plant. She returned to Radford in 2004 after living 25 years in Nokomis, Florida. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 3:00pm at Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Rev. Andrew Taylor-Troutman officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
