Phillips, Marvin Ralph

Marvin Ralph Phillips, 75, of Radford, passed away on Friday, July 13, 2007 at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center. He was born in Pulaski County on May 2, 1932.

Marvin was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was retired from Hercules Powder Company.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Bessie Phillips and sister, Jane P. Croy. He is survived by a brother and sister-in-law , Richard and Nancy Phillips of Radford; a sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Buddy Clement of Radford; and special friends, Betty Williams of Floyd and Kenneth Stoots of Radford.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. on Sunday July 15, 2007 at the DeVilbiss Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Jonathan Webster officiating. Interment will follow at Shelburne Family Cemetery.
