Phillips, India Opal

India Opal Phillips, 85, of Snowville, Va., passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2009, in Centerpoint Hospital Independence, Mo. She was an excellent provider for her family, and a business woman and home maker. She was a long time member of the Snowville Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sons, Wakely Phillips and Walter Lee Phillips; a daughter, Peggy Meyer; seven grandchildren; and eight greatgrandchildren.

The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, July 19, 2009, from 1 to 3 p.m. with funeral services at 3 p.m. at the DeVilbiss Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Wilson Cemetery.
