Phillips, Edith Duncan
Edith Duncan Phillips, 77, of Copper Valley, became another one of God’s Angels on Monday, February 13, 2012. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed caring for her family and always had a meal prepared. She was the Bingo Queen at Radford Health and Rehab, where she had resided with Chester for the last year and a half. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Chester Phillips; son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Ann Phillips; daughters and sons-in-law; Mary and Gordon Harman, Nancy and Jeff Gallimore; grandchildren, Dale and Nancy Harman, Christopher Harman and fiance, Emily Hollins Wimmer, Jennifer and Dale Smith, Jason and April Phillips, Joshua Gallimore; great-grandchildren, Brady and Jonah Harman, Cody Smith, Chloe and Ethan Phillips; sisters, Norma Graham, Pearl Hodges, Evelyn Quesenberry. The family wishes to thank the staff of Radford Health and Rehab for the love and care shown to our mother. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, February 16, 2012 at Indian Valley Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. James Walker officiating. Interment to follow in White Rock Cemetery.
