Phillips, Diane Nester

October 21, 1947 – August 26, 2021 A wonderful life remembered. Diane Nester Phillips was a wonderful sister, a loving wife, a terrific mother, and caring grandmother. A compassionate woman, she chose a career helping others, becoming an ER nurse, a pediatric nurse, and finished a career in service as a billing specialist with NRV Pediatrics until her retirement.

She recently celebrated her golden anniversary with the love of her life, Johnnie Dean Phillips. She had many great adventures, traveling to New York City, an Alaskan cruise, Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, Oklahoma, and Florida.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Johnnie Dean Phillips, her son Brian James Phillips and his wife Christa Thomas Phillips, her daughter Deanna Leigh Phillips and her wife Leslie Anne Puntillo, grandchildren: Jonathan William Phillips, Matthew Alexander Phillips, Cheyenne Sage Watashe, Carl Gene Akins, Casey Lyne Finau and great grandchildren: Landon Gene Finau, Santino Alexander Akins, Annaliese Malia Finau, Annabelle Marie Akins and her loving sister Linda Atkinson. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and lifelong friends.

Diane was proceeded in death by her father, James Milton Nester and her mother Reva Turpin Nester and a grandson, Scott Alex Estes.

Services will be private.
