Petty, Mike Allen

Mike Allen Petty, 58, of Draper, died Friday, May 23, 2008. He was born in Pulaski December 22, 1949 and was the son of the late Alberta Virginia Turner Petty and Buford Petty of Pulaski.

Mike was also preceded in death by brothers, Pete and Charles Petty, and a brother-in-law, Charles Taylor.

Surviving are: son, Robert Allen and Cassie Petty; father, Buford Petty; sisters, Barbara Petty and Ruth Taylor; brother, Mickey and Bertha Petty, all of Pulaski; special great-nephew, Kaiden; ex-wife and friend, Vicky Petty; friends, Allen and Tammy Nixon; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 27, 2008, at 2 p.m. from Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. David Hoover officiating. Burial will follow in the Ray Cemetery, Brookmont Road, Pulaski. Visiting will be Monday at the funeral home from 6 to 8 pm
