Petrone, Ralph A. “Pete”

Ralph A. “Pete” Petrone, age 99, of Claytor Lake, passed away at his home on January 27, 2019. Pete was born in Worcester, Massachusetts, the son of the late Maddelena (Raimondi) and Antonio Petrone. He served in the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Wright Petrone; son, Ralph Wright Petrone. He is predeceased by his parents; his sister, Marie; brothers, Joseph, Fedeli, Anthony, Raymond; nephew, Francis Petrone.

He leaves behind his sister, Irene M. (Petrone) Giarusso; brother-in-law, Richard Wright; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, including, his nephews, Jack and Phil Giarusso and great nephew, Joseph Giarusso, with whom he was especially close.

The family would like to thank his caregivers, Ali, Cindy, Julie, Kathy, Patty, Sandra and Tammy. Also, Pat Jones who took care of his maintenance at the lake and a special thanks to Good Samaritan Hospice.

Per Pete’s request, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
