Perkins, Nadine Clara Woods

Nadine Clara Woods Perkins, 81, of Pearisburg, VA passed away Sunday morning, September 7, 2008 at Riverview Nursing Home in Rich Creek, VA. Mrs. Perkins was born on July 27, 1927 in Giles County and was a daughter of the late Walter Woods and Florence Lucas Woods. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Eugene Perkins and a daughter, Hazel Stephens. Mrs. Perkins is survived by four sons, Gary Perkins of Pearisburg, Phillip Perkins of Dublin, James Perkins of Rich Creek, Darrell Perkins of Pembroke, one daughter, Norma Walters of Pearisburg, fifteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at 11:00am at the Mountain View Cemetery on Guinea Mountain in Pearisburg with Rev. Terry Mays officiating.
