Perkins, Benjamin Pierce

Benjamin Pierce Perkins, 20, of Christiansburg, Va., died Saturday, August 2, 2008. He was born in Roanoke, Va. on November 25, 1987.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Kristopher Alan Perkins; his maternal grandfather, Clyde Perkins; paternal grandparents, Clyde Pierce and Lucy Evelyn Olinger.

He is survived by his father, Clyde Richard Olinger; his mother, Sandra Lynn Perkins, both of Christiansburg; his daughter, Autumn Grace Perkins; his girlfriend, Casey Barker, both of Blacksburg; two sisters, Lexus and Jasmine Clabon, of Christiansburg; maternal grandmother, Carolene Perkins, of Blacksburg; seven aunts, Judy Horne, Connie Huff, Barbara Albert, Sarah Denig, Audrey Pascoe, Wanda Pascoe, Lois Quesenberry; and a special cousin, Sam Pascoe.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, August 7, 2008, at 1 p.m., in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmie Lee Price and the Rev. Trena P. French officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call any time after 12 noon Wednesday, and the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, SW, Blacksburg.
