Lois Faye Blankenship Perdue, 69 of Pearisburg, Va went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. Lois was born on June 1, 1951 in Pearisburg and was a daughter of the late Cecil Carr Blankenship and Clara Josephine Bouldin Blankenship. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Stacy Dwight Lovell and two brothers, Richard Blankenship and Carl Blankenship.

Lois was a graduate of Narrows High School, was a retired employee of the Celanese Corp. in Narrows and was a fifteen-year employee of Radford University. She was a member of New Village Pentecostal Holiness Church in Staffordsville. She enjoyed bingo, and the company of her family and friends. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were a big part of her life.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Richard H. Perdue of Pearisburg, one daughter, Tammy Lovell Conley (Jeff) of Pearisburg, three grandchildren, Kristin Frazier (fiancé Daniel “Spud” Johnson), Brittany Conley, Aaron Lovell and companion Brittany, four great grandchildren, Arizona P. Lovell, Kinsley and Isabelle Frazier, Raylan Cochran and three sisters, Diane Young (Richard) of Dublin and Joyce Mitten of N. Wilkesboro, NC., Virginia Pennington (Tony) of Glen Lyn and one brother, David Scott Blankenship (Vicky) of NC.

A celebration of her life will be conducted Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at 2pm at the Givens Funeral Home Chapel in Pearisburg with Pastor Kathy Higgs officiating. The family will receive friends at the Givens Funeral Home from 1 – 2pm before the service. We will be observing COVID-19 precautions, please wear a mask and observe social distancing.
