Perdue, Kelley Leigh

Kelley Leigh Perdue, 40, of Pearisburg, VA, passed away Monday, May 23, 2022 at her home. She was born July 6, 1981 in Radford, VA, the daughter of James Darrell Perdue and Brenda Leigh Vest Horn.

Kelley enjoyed being outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. She was a graduate of the Giles High School Class of 1999. She graduated from Virginia Western Community College with radiology technician certification.

Kelley was preceded in death by her parents, Brenda Leigh Vest Horn and Jerry Wayne Horn, her brother, James Bradley Perdue, her grandmothers, Pauline Hooker Vest and Frances Hudson Perdue and her beloved pet companion, “Jackson.”

Left to cherish her memory are her boyfriend, Kevin Howard Price; her special pet companion, “Brie”; her father, James Darrell Perdue; her grandfathers, Nelson Lee Vest and James Harrison (“Buddy”) Perdue; her sisters and brother, Miranda & Michael Webb, Tara Clark, James Perdue, Jr., and Alisha Dixon; special aunts and uncles, Jackie & Debbie Vest, Carroll & Kathy Perdue and Leketa & Dean Miller; special niece and nephew, Jordan Marley Turner and Emmanuel Hilton; special cousins, Leslie & Eric Sharp and family and Leslie & Thomas Morris and family; good friend, Robert Pennington; and several special extended family members and friends, too many to list.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 26, 2022 at 7:00 P.M. at A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home Chapel, White Gate with Charles Henderson and Pastor Craig Whittaker officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 P.M. until service time, 7:00 P.M. Graveside services will be held Friday, May 27, 2022 at the Stinson Cemetery.
