Perdue, Janis Dickerson

Janis Dickerson Perdue, age 90, of Blacksburg, died, Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at her home. She was born on July 2, 1931 to the late Norman W. And Ellen Gibson Dickerson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Perdue, Jr.; two sisters, Jewel Schoffstall, Opal Davis.

She was a faithful member of Harvest Baptist Church and a 1948 graduate of Blacksburg High School where she excelled in the Beta Club.

She is survived by her sisters and brother-in-law, Norma Wall, Toni and Jimmy Fain; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Harvest Baptist Church, 201 Lucas Drive, Blacksburg, VA 24060.
