Perdue, Frances Hudson

Frances Louise Hudson Perdue, 84, of Staffordsville, departed this life for her heavenly home Wednesday, March 30, 2016. Frances leaves a family who dearly loved her, as well as all who knew her, to cherish her memory.

Her loving husband of 65 years, James H. “Buddy” Perdue, of the home; two sons and daughter-in-law, James Darrell Perdue and friend, Jean and Carroll Edward and Kathy Perdue, all of Staffordsville; a daughter and son-in-law, Leketa and Dean Miller, Pembroke; eight grandchildren, James Darrell Perdue Jr., Chris Edward and Amber Perdue, all of Staffordsville, Caleb Randall Tilley, Corey Reid Miller and Cole Riley Miller, all of Pembroke, Kelley and Brian Neal, Pearisburg, Leslie and Thomas Morris, Elliston and Alisha and Curtis Dixon, Galax; four great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Elizabeth Perdue, Staffordsville, Kadance and Cole Dixon, Galax and Jamie Faith Perdue, Pulaski; one brother and sister-in-law, Marvin “Buddy” & Alice Hudson, Pembroke; two sisters, Shirley Ritter and Juanita Lucas, Pearisburg.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 11 a.m. at A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home Chapel, White Gate, with Charlie Henderson officiating. Entombment will follow at Birchlawn Abbey.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 1, 2016 at the funeral home from 5 until 7 p.m.
