Bobby Newton Perdue, 74, of Wolf Street, Narrows, departed this life Wednesday evening, June 6, 2018 at Carilion Giles Community Hospital in Pearisburg. Born in Narrows on October 16, 1943, he was a son of the late George Elmer “Shine” and Helen Brookman Perdue. He was a graduate of Narrows High School, a retired supervisor at the Celanese Plant with 35 years service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Jody P. Spangler. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 33 years, Jessie Trout Perdue; his sons Bobby N Perdue Jr. of Narrows and Billy Perdue of Narrows; his brothers, Jeff Perdue of Narrows and Charles “CF” Perdue of Narrows; his sisters, Carolyn Perdue of Narrows and Joyce Reed of Statesboro, Ga.; and his grandchildren, Leah Perdue and Felena Pack; and his brother-in-law, Jeff Trout.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, June 11, 2018 at 2 p.m. in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke, with Pastor Bill Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg.
