Annie Josephine Perdue, 90, of Pearisburg, VA, passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at her home. She was born June 2, 1930 in Narrows, VA, the last surviving child of the late William Earl & Laura Elkins Nance.

Annie was always in good spirits, upbeat and playing jokes on people. She enjoyed gardening, canning and being outdoors. She enjoyed watching westerns, especially Gunsmoke. She enjoyed working puzzles, fishing and cooked all the time.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Clayton Perdue, her brothers, Dick Nance, Jesse Nance, Harry Nance, Paul Nance and Junior Nance, her sisters, Inez Carter, Ellen Lafon, Mary Eppling and Juanita Deweese, a grandson, Eric Davis and two granddaughters, Julia Cole and Jessica Perdue.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons & daughters-in-law, Richard & Carolyn Perdue, Danny & Teresa Perdue and Ronald Perdue; her daughters & son-in-law, Betty & Steve McGuire and Violet Payne; her grandchildren, Crystal Kawase, Danny Perdue, Jr., Ronald Perdue, Jr., Michelle Carbaugh and Jamie Martin; her great-grandchildren, Shayna Kawase, Sienna Kawase, Paisley Perdue, Cambrea Neice, Terrance Martin Brennon Martin, Jaylan Martin, Bryson Martin, Jaran Martin, Christopher Blankenship and Lauren Cox, eight great-great grandchildren; a special caregiver, Shelby Webb; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are planned for Friday, May 28, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home, White Gate, with Pastor Debbie Hutton officiating. Burial will follow in Birchlawn Burial Park, Inc. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, May 27, 2021 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.
