Peoples, Sarah Brown

Sarah Helen Peoples, age 94, of Blacksburg, departed this life Sunday, September 29, 2019, born September 29, 1925. She was the daughter of the late Isaac Austin and Fannie Brown of Pulaski.

She is also preceded in death by four sisters, Lilly Morris, Molly Farrow, Mary Lou Austin, Nannie Bill Austin, son, Leon Peoples, brother, Percy Lee Austin. She is survived by one sister, Kate Austin, five children, Lila Gravely (Charles), of Christiansburg, Bobby Peoples (Louise), of Dublin, Daniel Peoples (Darlene), of Radford, Fred Peoples, of Christiansburg, and Carolyn Prim, of Blacksburg, nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and a host of great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, sister-in-law, Sarah Redd, brother-in-law, Alfred Peoples.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, October 4, 2019 at 12:00 pm in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Peoples Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am-12:00 pm prior to the service at McCoy Funeral Home 150 Country Club Dr. SW, Blacksburg.
