Christopher William Pearson, 82, of Radford, passed away Friday, February 14, 2014. He was the former Premiere (Governor) of the Yukon Territory, Canada. He was born in Canada the son of the late Joseph Albert and Henrietta Van Lohuizen Pearson. Survivors include his wife, Nelda K. Pearson of Claytor Lake; son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Stacey Pearson of Whitehorse, Yukon, CAN; daughters and sons-in-law, Laura and Simon Farrer of Airdrie, Alberta, CAN, and Joyce and Brian Harmatiuk of Lethbridge, Alberta, CAN; sister and brother-in-law Evelyn and John Atkinson of Houston, British Columbia, CAN; step-children, Cybele Daley Pasco and spouse James Pasco of Edgewater, MD, and Henry Daley of Richmond, VA; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Pulaski Country Club, 4360 County Club Drive, Pulaski, VA, with Rev. Bob Hendrickson officiating.
