Pearman Sr., Lewis Lee

Lewis Lee (Buddy) Pearman Sr., 68, of Christiansburg, died Friday, June 14, 2013. Born March 25, 1945, in Christiansburg, he was the son of the late Harvey Lewis Pearman and Elsie May Linkous.

Surviving are his sons, Lewis Pearman Jr. (Rhonda), and Dougie Pearman (Kim Cox); daughter, Judy Pearman (Davey Collins); sisters, Elva Poff (Arvil Keith), Phyllis (Wayne) Musselman, Lois Shark, Jeanette (Buckie) Surface, Dana (Sidney) Moye, and Connie (Jimmy) Melvin; brother, Gary (Karon) Pearman; half brother, Ricky Pearman; and five grandchildren, DJ, Kimberly, Amy, Matthew and Reba. A Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2013, at Slusser’s Chapel, 1543 Mt. Tabor Road, Blacksburg, with the Rev. Dick Gilbert officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Pearman’s name at Slusser’s Chapel, 1543 Mt. Tabor Road, Blacksburg, VA 24060. The family will receive friends at the church from 6 to 7 p.m. prior to the service. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
