Pearman, Herman Polk

Herman Polk Pearman, 89, of Prices Fork, died Sunday, March 8, 2009 at Montgomery Regional Hospital. He was born in Lynch, Kentucky on June 10, 1919 to the late John Lee and Lonnie Catherine Hall Pearman and was also preceded in death by his wife, Allie Lee Long Pearman and also his second wife, Ruth Hamblin Taylor Pearman. Herman retired from Hercules, Inc. with twenty three years of service.

He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce and Ronnie Kitts and Betty and Ray Wingate all of Prices Fork; his son, Roger Pearman and fiance, Pamela Dean of Dublin; grandchildren, Timothy Kitts and wife, Wendy, Jason Kitts and wife Kim, Jeffrey Wingate and Mary Busch, Adam Pearman; great-grandchild, Cody William Kitts; stepgreatgranddaughter, Caitlin Lytton.

The family would like to thank Heritage Hall for their kind and loving care of their Dad, Herman.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at 2 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Stan Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Prices Fork United Methodist Church Building Fund, c/o Rita Sullivan, 3365 McCoy Rd., Blacksburg, Va., 24060.

The family will receive friends from 12 noon until service time at 2 p.m. at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr., SW, Blacksburg.
