Pearce, Viola Craig

Viola Craig Pearce, 90, of Dublin, died on Wednesday, October 17, 2012, in the LewisGale Hospital Pulaski. She was born in Pulaski on January 19, 1922 and was the daughter of the late Worley and Etta Sowers Craig. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Oscar Pearce; and by her brother, Frank Craig. Mrs. Pearce was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Pulaski. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Wanda Pearce; grandchildren, Karen P. Montgomery and her husband, Wayne, and Craig Pearce; great- grandchildren and spouses, Zachery and Leah Queen, Tabitha and Randy Johnson, William Pearce, and Michael Pearce; two great- great-grandsons; a great- great-granddaughter, due in November; sisters-in-law, Mary Gannaway, Irene Pearce, Betty Craig, Elizabeth Hopkins, and Dolly Marshall; and nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at noon on Saturday, October 20, 2012, from the Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Terri Sternberg officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery, Pulaski. Visiting will be held on Saturday at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the service hour.
