kinkade-stairs-to-heavenEdna May Campbell Pattison (Peggy), 87 of Dublin, Virginia passed peacefully on the 28th day of June 2014 at Radford Health and Rehab Center in Radford, Virginia. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland on May 26, 1927. She is preceded in death by her parents, Carl Franklin Campbell and Edith M. Schmidt Campbell Atwell, her husband, Alfred (Pat) Henry Bazy Draper Pattison and a granddaughter, Cathleen Lendez Pattison.

She is survived by Her Children Rev. Carl F. (Rachel) Pattison – Loysville, PA., Loring D. (Kay) Pattison – Wytheville, A.Craig (Connie) Pattison – Norfolk, G.Gary (Dinah) Pattison – Rural Retreat, Bazette (Bep) P. Cooper – Fincastle, Melody P. (C.Wayne) Taylor – Hillsville, Keith L. (Susan) Pattison – Radford, 14 Grandchildren- 11 Great Grandchildren. Her Faithful pet-Sugar whom she cherished and loved dearly.

Edna was a member of the Gladesboro Lutheran Church in Gladesboro, VA. Over the years Edna wore many hats from a homemaker to working (i.e. Jefferson Mills, Hairdresser, CNA, The Atrium, Fine Arts Center of Pulaski, a seamstress with a love of sewing). Later she enjoyed going to craft sales with Alfred. She was a history buff and an avid reader. Edna’s favorite flower was roses. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM – Thursday, July 3, 2014 at the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with the Pastor Joe Shumate officiating.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 PM – until service time.
