Patterson, Wayne Allen
Wayne Allen Patterson 55, of Pulaski Va, went to be with his Heavenly Father alongside his brother, Darrell Roark. Born July 15, 1966 in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, he was a devoted husband, father and friend. He would give you the shirt off his back and never think twice.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn and father William “Jack” Patterson; and sister, Pamela Jean Patterson.
He is survived by his soulmate and best friend of 34 years, Melissa “Missy” Patterson; three daughters, Atasha Hall and husband Brian, Casey Patterson, Ashley Hubbard and husband Chris; brothers Charles Patterson and special sister Yvette, William “Bill” Patterson and wife Nancy, Marcus Patterson and wife Kelly; and sisters, Betty Russell and husband Rick, Janel Parker and husband David; countless nieces, nephews, cousins, and 11 grandchildren. Wayne leaves behind his IAB brothers including: Brady, Travis, Ricky, Cecil, Ricky, Jeremiah, Austin, and his late brother Darrell.
Wayne’s love of God, Family, and Country was known by everyone who knew him. He was a hardworking man who could fix almost anything, make anyone laugh, and loved his motorcycles like his children. He loved all of his motorcycle brothers and never hesitated to ride at the drop of a hat.
Family will receive friends on Friday, February 25, 2022 from 5-8 pm at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 11 am in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with prayer by Pastor Henry Fiske and Pastor Lee Starver officiating. There will be no interment.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, that you make a donation to a motorcycle charity of your choice.

He was the best dad anyone could ever ask for, and everyone who met him and got to know him loved him so much. He was a great father, husband, and friend to so many. I we will miss him so much, I pray for the Roark family too. These guys cared about each other so much. And they were doing what they loved and that was riding free. I love you so much daddy and pray u hear us all. You will be missed but certainly never forgotten.
