Patterson, Eva McArthur

Eva McArthur Patterson, 94, of Blacksburg, died Saturday, June 14, 2008. A native of Southeast Georgia, she lived the last 20 years in Blacksburg, and was a member of Blacksburg Christian Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Anne Morgan, of Blacksburg; and three grandchildren, Deanne Morgan, of Durham, N.C., and Michael and Patricia Morgan, of Amelia, Va.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 18, 2008, at 11 a.m. in the Blacksburg Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).

The family requests gifts in her honor be sent to the Blacksburg Christian Church or the Montgomery County Library-Blacksburg Branch in lieu of flowers. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
