Parmelee, Linda Sheppard

Linda S. Caldwell Parmelee of Smith Mt. Lake, born June 1, 1949, peacefully left for her heavenly home on April 7, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents Jesse and Dorothy Sheppard Sheppard; husbands, Paul Caldwell and Rodney Francis; sister-in-law, Frances Sheppard.

She is survived by her husband, Bob Parmelee; two step-sons, Thomas and Bobby (Jenny) Parmelee; brother, Aubrey Sheppard; sister, Eunice S. Jones; special friend and caregiver, Brenda Hill; very special niece, Lynn Akers; six nephews, Gary, Larry, Sheldon, Justin, and Nicholas Akers and Link Sheppard; two step-granddaughters, Breanna and Kylie Parmelee; Numerous cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 16, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Tibbs and Rev. Jube Burk officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 pm Friday. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg
