Parks, Annie Mae

Annie Mae Parks, 81, of Pembroke, departed this life on Sunday evening, May 19, 2013, in Heartland Nursing Home in Adelphi, Md. She was born on May 28, 1932, in Giles County, a daughter of the late Savannah Parks. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pembroke. She leaves to cherish her memory her cousins, Doris Shipman and her husband, LeRoy, who had been her caretakers for the last 17 years; Evangelist Dan Parks, of Pembroke; numerous cousins; and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 25, 2013, at the First Baptist Church of Pembroke with Pastor James Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg.
