Eddie George Parker, 71, of Copper Hill, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2008. Survivors include his sisters-in-law, Barbara J. Sowder and husband, Thomas, of Check, Va., and Lula Bell Kennedy, of Colorado. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 27, 2008, at the Stonewall Methodist Brethren Church with Pastor Dan Walker officiating. Arrangements by Maberry Funeral Home, Floyd, Va.
