Cindy was a graduate of William Byrd High School in Vinton, Virginia as well as Radford University. She fiercely loved her family, her pets, and any animal that crossed her path. There isn’t one stray that she would turn away. She was an advocate for animals that could not advocate for themselves.

Cindy spent most of her career working as a counselor for families and children in crisis. She never viewed it as a job and it was truly her calling in life.

Donations to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers would be an amazing way to honor Cindy’s memory.

Visitation will be Friday, January 12, 2024, from 5-6 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life to follow at 6 p.m. in the Chapel.
