Pardasie, Dhandai Vera

Dhandai Vera Pardasie, 55, of Christiansburg, VA passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2022. She was born on August 8, 1967 in Chaguanas, Trinidad. She was preceded in death by her mother, Meena Pardasie.

She is survived by her husband, Jagdeece “Jag” Ramsoondar; sons, John Ramsoondar and Justin Ramsoondar; father, Manichand Pardasie; brothers, Nishan Pardasie, Steve Pardasie, and Ravi Pardasie; sisters, Carmen Pardasie, Meena Pardasie and Cindi Pardasie; and she was Aunti to many nieces and nephews.

Vera worked as a CNA at Hamilton NY General Hospital and then Warm Hearth and Heritage Hall in Blacksburg, VA. She enjoyed cooking, canning, baking, camping, fishing and shopping with friends. She also attended New River Fellowship Church.

A funeral service will be conducted on Friday, November 4, 2022 at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Horne Funeral Home with Pastor Jordan Seacrest officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until time of service. Vera will be laid to rest in Trinidad at a later date.
