Pannell, Thomas Jackson

Thomas Jackson Pannell, 79, of Shawsville, passed away Saturday, April 3, 2010, at his home. He was a life member of the Isaac Walton League. Preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Katherine King Pannell; daughter, Ann Dalton; son-in-law, Terry Owens; brothers, Dave, Frank, Joe, Ed and Morris Pannell. He leaves to cherish his memory sons, Robert Pannell, Kevin Cressell and wife, Lynn; daughters, Jackie Kommes and husband, Larry, Mary Owens, Tammy Pannell and Jerry Vaught; grandchildren, Angie Dalton, Shannon Dalton, Tammy Lynn Dalton, Chelsie Vaught; grandsons, D.J. Dalton, Tommy Owens and wife, Julie, Justin Owens and Jay Vaught; sisters, Ann Clayton, Ethel Croy; 10 great-grandchildren; a very special friend, Sammy Epperly. The family will receive friends Monday, April 5, 2010, at the Horne Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 6 , 2010, in the Horne Funeral Chapel with Pastor Shake Smith officiating.
