PANNELL, Katherine Jane King

Katherine Jane King Pannell, age 78, of Christiansburg, passed away January 19, 2006. She was the daughter of the late, Walter F. and Virginia King, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, Floyd King, W. F. King and Gene King; sister, Elizabeth Mitchell and granddaughter, Katherine Jean Pannell-Owens.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 49 years, Jack Pannell; son, Robert Pannell; daughters and sons-in-law, Ann Dalton; Jacqueline & Larry Kommes; Mary & Terry Owens; Tammy Pannell & Jerry Vaught; granddaughters, Angie Dalton, Shannon Dalton, Tammy Lynn Dalton, Chelsie Vaught; grandsons and their wives, Kevin & Lynn Cressell, D. J. Dalton, Tommy & Julie Owens, Justin Owens, Jay Vaught; great grandchildren, Hannah Dalton, Haley Cressell, Hanna Cressell, Cymberly Cressell, Kacey Cressell, Elijah Hoskin, and Aidan Owens.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening at the Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 22, 2006 at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Shake Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg.
