Painter, Carolyn McArthur

Carolyn McArthur Painter, 72, beloved piano teacher, went home to her Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 9, 2015, after her battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Wade Painter.

Survivors are her daughter, Elaine Link; grandchildren, T.W. Link, Dakota (Kayla) Link, Sierra Link and three great grandchildren; sister, Rebecca (Bob) McArthur Cox; nephew, Michael (Connie) Cox; niece, Melissa (Dave) Cox Kunde; four great nieces and one great nephew.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 13, 2015, at 4 p.m. at Grace Life Baptist Church in Christiansburg. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to Horne Funeral Home to help with expenses. Online condolences may be made by visiting www.hornefuneralservice.com.
