Pack, Sallie Ella

Sallie Ella Pack, 84, of Christiansburg, died Friday, December 23, 2011, at Heritage Hall Health Care, Blacksburg. She was born in Brunswick County on May 21, 1927, to the late James Anderson and Dallas Rebecca Goldsberry Stewart, and was also preceded in death by her husband, Nathaniel Arthur Pack; her daughter, La Shawn Nicole Pack; sister, Alice Emma Stewart Cooper; and also two brothers, James Herbert Stewart and Sherman Daniel Stewart.

She is survived by her two nieces, Juanita Culler, of Maryland and Alice R. Cooper, of Riverdale, Maryland; nephew, Kenneth Cooper, of Clinton, Maryland; Goddaughter great niece, Saquita A. James, of Riverdale, Maryland; seven great nieces,; six great- nephews; six great-great- nieces; three great-great- nephews; and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, December 30, 2011, in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Lee E. Suggs, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Schaeffer Memorial Baptist Church Building Fund, P. O. Box 581, Christiansburg, Va. 24068. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive SW, Blacksburg.
