Pack, Ringolia Boffman

Ringolia Boffman Pack, 93, of Riner, passed from labor to reward on Wednesday, April 9, 2008, at the Hunter Woods Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Charlotte, N.C.

She was born December 24, 1914, to the late Lucy and Leonard Boffman. Ringolia was a member of Mt. Airy United Methodist Church in Riner. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Louis, Amos Sr., Fredrick, Patrick, Mary Frances, Howard and William Boffman; and her husband, James Edgar Pack.

She is survived by a devoted son, James W. (Judy) Pack, Charlotte, N.C.; two grandchildren, Monica R. (Anthony) Buckner and James C. Pack, Roanoke, Va.; five great-grandchildren, Briana Bull, Tashiana Pack, Jerry A. Buckner Jr., De’Anthony Buckner and Antwan Pack, all of Roanoke, Va.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 12, 2008, at the Mt. Airy United Methodist Church, Riner, Va., with visitation at 11 a.m. and the service to follow at 12 noon. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Kevin M. Fiorini will deliver the eulogy. Pallbearers are Joseph W. Pack, Waymon R. Pack, Richard Boffman, Joseph Pack, John Turner and Thomas Dehart. Flower bearers are the nieces and honorary pallbearers are Richard Lewis, James Simmons, Alvin Boffman, James Wade and William Black.
