Owens, Sarah Ann

Sarah Ann Owens, 64 formerly of Peterstown, passed away Thursday March 12, 2020 at the Wintergreen Commons Senior Apartments in Rich Creek, VA. Born January 15, 1956 at Montgomery, WV she was the daughter of the late Gloria Faye Rhodes Keaton.

Sarah was a homemaker and of the Church of God Faith.

In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by a brother, Lindy Dicken and a sister, Rita Pitzer. Survivors include two daughters, Tina Neice of Peterstown, and Delilah Ann Owens of Roanoke, VA; one son, Sampson Corey Owens of Radford, VA and a step son Columbus Owens of North Carolina; two sisters, Shelia Gobel and husband Junior of Peterstown, WV and Adah Hosey and husband Mike of Clifton Forge, VA; two brothers, Norris Dewayne Dicken of Ballard, WV and Carlos Lee Keaton of Bluefield, WV. Fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Wednesday March 18, 2020 at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel with Shirley Wimmer officiating. Burial will follow at the Chambers Cemetery in Lindside, WV. Friends may call from 12:00 noon until time of services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
